Beginners: During your first session, we will cover the basics of PMC3 and the use of Metal Clay, Syringe, and Paste techniques. Videos are also provided for your viewing. Dichroic Art glass class can be taken separately in our private and semi-private classes and continued here in the group workshop sessions.
Workshops are usually taken once a week and are based on six three-hour sessions taken over a period of no more than six weeks.
Make-up classes. If you sign up for another series, you may “carry” the make-up class to the next series, less the $30 cost for the class you missed. Also, sessions are non-transferable. E.g., you cannot give a workshop session to another person.
Refunds. Full payment of $150 is due at the first session. If you cancel after the first session, you may receive a refund of $120 (less the $30 for the first session taken). There will be no refund if more than one workshop is taken. There is no refund for materials.
Firing fee. We will fire your pieces for you after the workshop and will return them to you at the next session. Any piece you make, while taking our workshops, will be fired for you at the studio at no charge, up to a maximum of five pieces each session (e.g., a maximum of 30 pieces for 18 hours of study). Firing of six pieces or more costs $5 for each additional piece.
Purchasing additional materials. Students may purchase additional materials from the instructors at the retail price plus a 7.25% CA sales tax. If you have a California reseller number, and would like to purchase items without paying a sales tax, you may do so by signing the appropriate reseller certificate available from the instructors. The cost of materials is subject to change.
Unclaimed pieces. The instructors are not responsible for pieces, fired or unfired, that were left in the studio or meeting room for a period exceeding four weeks.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone.
